What will be its effect? Well, nobody really knows for sure because nobody knows the exact path of Nibiru's orbit, but if it comes really close to our planet, it could trigger a cataclysm here on Earth. The return of Planet X Nibiru may or may not bring catastrophe to our planet. We wont know until it gets here but it wont even get here in our lifetimes so we dont have anything to worry about.

If Nibiru exists, and its supposed to come close to Earth in 2012, shouldn't it be visible by now (at least in some of the thousands of telescopes in use)?
To get close to us in 3 years it has to be closer than Jupiter by now - why has no astronomer anywhere seen it?

There are several photo's on the internet claiming to show Nibiru. some claiming it being hoaxes http://yowcrooks.wordpress.com/2009/05/14/nibiru-soho-images-debunked/ others i cannot confirm or deny as I couldn't find enough impartial information myself. The reply above does not answer the question in regards to observing Niburu now which logically should already be possible as we can look much further and deeper into space then our solar system alone which Niburu is a part of (plus we should be able to figure out the trajectory by now too i would assume. So put the Huble on it and get over it :P).

What really bugs me about this 2012 thing is that there are many interpretations about it (From total destruction until super enlightenment and everything in between). The question is what are the Mayans them selfs saying about what would happen at the end of time as I still can find too may different explanations about this it's very hard to seek the truth.

For me there is only one conclusion I yet have made and that is that the mayan calendar is round meaning every end is a new beginning (with or without me whether I want it or not despite faith or skeptism). As above so below is a text that you see come by often in all kinds of cultures. So i keep my thoughts positive hoping above will be too ;-)

Cheers,

Ray

I suppose you're right, observing Nibiru now should already be possible, the only thing is - nobody knows where it is. All we know is that it has a 3600 yr orbit and it's due back in 2800.

Spread the word...

Did You Know?

Earth or Erde in German was derived from the Sumerian word Eridu which is translated "Home in the Faraway" or "Home away from home" because this is what the Anunnakis called our planet when they first landed here.

Ningishzidda, the Anunnaki who created the Mayan Calendar was also the diety responsible for engineering the Great Pyramid in Giza according to ancient texts.
